Are you the best gardener in your neighborhood? Then chances are high that you make your own soil! Think you’ve got the best dirt in town? Then join the MET for a Compost Contest at TCC’s downtown campus on March 28! Be the envy of your neighborhood when you taken home the golden, silver or bronze shovel! Awards given for the top three soils and the top recipe.

Competing is easy: just bring us a sample of your soil in a milk jug that has been cut in half (with the handle still attached), and a “recipe” card telling us what you used to make your soil.

Entries will be accepted until 2 p.m. Judging takes place at 2:15.
