America Recycles Day Banquet

Our 25th Annual America Recycles Day Banquet and Awards Ceremony was held on Wednesday, November 19th, 2025, at the Marriott Tulsa Hotel’s Council Oak Ballroom.

We had five Award Winners. Green Business of the Year went to the Tulsa Zoo. Green Government of the Year went to the City of Tulsa Household Pollutant Collection Facility’s Swap Shop. Green Art Project of the Year went to Richard Zimmerman for his sculpture, “Assembly,” commissioned by Urban Core Art Project. Recycling Advocate of the Year went to Michael Spurgeon, and Recycler of the Year went to Sherry Langston.
